THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
The Department of Business Administration at Brenau University offers Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Business, Accounting, Healthcare Management, Project Management, Human Resource Management and Organizational Leadership. The Department is dedicated to melding theory with practice to prepare you for a career in business. Our faculty has a wealth of real world experience in addition to their academic credentials.GRADUATE PROGRAMS
Most of our graduate programs lead to professional certification. In addition to the general MBA we offer MBAs focusing on Healthcare Management, Accounting, Insurance, and Project Management.
For those students more interested in the not for profit, government or education sectors we offer the MS in Organizational Leadership.
We also offer a 12 month, Full Time MBA program at our main campus in Gainesville, Georgia (about 45 miles north of Atlanta).
UNDERGRADUATE PROGRAMSAt the undergraduate level we offer the Bachelor in Business Administration (BBA) which provides students with the ultimate flexibility to craft a degree to suit their goals. Electives in the BBA may be spread over the various areas of business to give students the broadest possible exposure to all areas of business. Alternatively, students may focus their electives in one area (e.g. Marketing, Management) if they prefer.
We also offer the BBA in Accounting, BA in Organizational Leadership and BS in Human Resource Management.

IACBE Accreditation
Brenau University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education (IACBE), located in Lenexa, Kansas. The following business programs and degrees are accredited by the IACBE:

Lessie Smithgall Receives Unprecedented Second Honorary Doctorate for Family Philanthropy in Science and Ecology »
Commemorating the significant contributions that she and her family have made to global and local environmental preservation, Brenau University on Nov. 13, 2009, conferred an honorary doctor of sciences degree on Lessie Smithgall, who with her late husband, Charles, presided over a Gainesville, Ga.-based media company operated radio, television and newspaper interests in several states.

Brenau University ‘s College of Education will host close to 300 educators Friday and Saturday, July 17-18, for the Early Childhood Constructivist Institute designed to help teachers improve their skills for teaching mathematics and sciences to younger pupils.
